Matt sees substantial opportunities for disruption in the healthcare ecosystem.  He is focused on applying best practices and talent capital management to help investors scale businesses in the healthcare technology and services space.  As Managing Partner of Chasm, Matt is focused on driving HCIT enterprise value growth through innovative talent capital models working as “partners” with venture capital and private equity investors and their portfolio companies.

Matt brings over 20+ years of experience as a business leader in both large and small companies, where he led the qualification, launch and commercial expansion plans of 19 B2B and B2C business ventures across 14 countries.

Before serving as a Partner at Oxeon Partners, Matt was a change agent as SVP and Head of Marketing (CMO) for WebMD consumer businesses such as the company’s website, magazine and mobile assets.  Prior to WebMD, Matt was Founder & Managing Director of Nielsen Health (formerly a start-up business unit of The Nielsen Company) and subsequently President & CEO of Deutsche Ventures, where he conceived and commercialized first ever data integration methods and analytic solutions that help healthcare marketers, payers and providers optimize their patient communication campaigns in a HIPAA regulated data environment.

In this endeavor, he founded Ecosys Consumer Analytics, a healthcare patient targeting and marketing ROI analytics platform that eventually merged with Crossix Solutions.  Earlier in his career, Matt spent 8 out of his 10 years at Procter & Gamble in Frankfurt and Geneva developing and leading commercial expansion plans for several global packaged goods and consumer health brands.  Matt started his career in the group employee benefits space at Unum.

Matt graduated from Colby College where he started two businesses, one of which he sold before graduating and received an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He is an investor and board member of various privately held ventures in the healthcare technology and services space. Matt is a member of the Board of Directors at Stamford Hospital, ranked by US News and World Report as one of the top hospitals in Connecticut, where he also serves on the Quality & Clinical Affairs as well as Finance Committees.

KRISTY LINDQUIST

Kristy found her niche as a global turnaround specialist in organizational development and operations. She has been a proven catalyst for change while leveraging the right people and leaders to achieve breakthrough results. After 25 years helping international companies in pharma and consumer products grow through challenging circumstances, she sees significant opportunity in helping healthcare technology & services companies scale by applying these experiences.

As an international business leader throughout her career, Kristy evolved as an accomplished leader and management consultant following 8 years at Procter & Gamble.  While at P&G, Kristy managed the P/L and growth strategies of several global brands in Western Europe and South East Asia, with particular focus on consumer health.  While at P&G, she led her organization successfully through the Thai currency crisis. Subsequently, Kristy took on several leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer of Axicorp Pharma and Chief Purchasing Officer of ACA Mueller, both of which were privately held European pharmaceutical distribution companies based in Germany.  In these roles, Kristy led significant restructuring and turnaround efforts during the German health care reform and following new private equity funding, leading to record profits.  Kristy also took on several projects in consulting and training for international clients, advising them on disruptive strategies to achieve growth.  Some of those clients include BRITA GmbH, Tivall Europe, AC Nielsen, Aventis Pharma, Amneal Pharma, and Constantia Flexibles.

Kristy graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and received her Master of International Management from Thunderbird Global School of Management.  She is fluent in German, enjoys globetrotting with her two young adult children, and enjoys running and hiking outdoors, especially since moving to Salt Lake City, Utah.

DAVID WOODWARD

David believes that in order for healthcare to transform from fee-for-service to value-based care, the Healthcare Information Technology industry will continue to face disruption and require “best in class” human capital to provide a competitive advantage. His view is that top talent in key functional areas like sales, marketing, operations, finance, and engineering will be necessary for venture backed companies in this space to not only win the sprint but keep pace in the marathon.

At Chasm Partners, David leverages his 20+ years of experience as an executive search professional in advising clients, and coaching candidates. He specializes in recruiting commercial oriented executives for early and later stage high growth clients, leveraging his experience from a broad range of client sectors including private equity, venture capital, healthcare, technology and consumer products.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners, David specialized in retained search focused venture backed healthcare technology companies at Ross & Company. Earlier in his career, he served in several senior recruiting roles at Lindsey & Company and O’Keefe & Partners, where he specialized in the recruitment of senior marketing, sales and general management executives. He brings experience having worked directly with senior leaders at clients ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Visa, Domino’s Pizza, and Victorinox Swiss Army, while also partnering with Private Equity and Venture Capital clients including Summit Partners, General Catalyst, Hellman & Friedman, Frontier Capital, Harvest Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, Northbridge Venture Partners, and Venrock, among others.

David graduated from Babson College with a BS in Management and was a two-time All-American in Ice Hockey. He is an active investor and a Limited Partner in a number of funds focused on healthcare technology and services. He lives in Fairfield, CT with his wife and two children and enjoys ice hockey, boating, fishing, golfing and hitting the beach. He is an active member in the Catholic Club, Roxbury Club, and Fayerweather Yacht club. He still enjoys playing hockey in a men’s league and maintains his Level 4 coaching certification.

As a healthcare industry veteran, Pam has experienced first-hand the need for transformation of the US healthcare system. As a Partner with Chasm Partners, Pam leverages her experience with both established and early stage healthcare companies to identify exceptional talent in executive leadership, sales, operations, and customer success.

Before joining Chasm, Pam worked in business development, client success and consulting for healthcare startups and health systems. She has worked with seed stage companies, nonprofits and publicly traded companies across her healthcare career.

Prior to her endeavors in the healthcare start-up world, Pam spent four years with the Advisory Board Company in senior account executive and client success positions. She also spent close to a decade in hospital strategic planning and business development roles with both HCA and SCL Health. Pam started her career as a journalist covering fiscal, monetary, and trade policy in Washington, DC.

Pam is a graduate of Emory University and received an MBA from Columbia Business School. She lives outside of Denver with her family and enjoys spending her free time outdoors biking, hiking, and running up Colorado’s mountains. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and being “managed” by her poorly-behaved Australian Shepherd.

Meredith Damore

As the daughter of a healthcare CEO and a hospital social worker, Meredith has spent not just her career, but most of her life, within the healthcare ecosystem. She has seen firsthand how organizations can thrive under great leadership and when less effective approaches have hindered leaders from achieving their goals; she is passionate about helping healthcare leaders have greater self-awareness in order to achieve their personal and organizational goals. As Executive Director of Chasm’s organizational development arm and a member of Chasm’s executive leadership team, Meredith is focused on coaching healthcare executives by leveraging assessments and feedback, helping their teams work more effectively together, and supporting investors (and founders) in understanding leadership opportunities for both current and prospective portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Chasm, she was the SVP, Strategy at Concentric Health Experience, overseeing complex strategic engagements for healthcare and life sciences companies. Previously, she was the Head of Partnerships/Business Development for a Series B healthcare technology startup. Meredith began her career in healthcare research and consulting where she oversaw large, multimillion dollar clinical transformation engagements serving large hospital systems, provider groups, and payors. She is the outgoing Chair of the Board of Directors for University of Pennsylvania’s Division I Varsity Volleyball program and is a member of the Leadership Council for the Carol Emmott Foundation, a 501(c)(3) dedicated to elevating women leaders in healthcare.

Meredith received her MA in Organizational Psychology and Change Leadership from Columbia University and holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, where she also minored in German. She is certified to administer the Intercultural Development Inventory, the premier cross-culturally valid assessment for building cultural competence within organizations.

A recruiter by training, Yates’ passion is assisting growth oriented companies acquire talent, at scale. His career has been dedicated to healthcare and Life Sciences having worked with organizations like Eli Lilly and Company, Parexel, CVS/Aetna and United Healthcare. Taking a consultative approach, Yates works with his clients on large resourcing projects, aligning not just on hiring goals but also appropriate long term strategy that incorporates organizational design, recruitment technology and employment branding. As Partner and General Manager of ChasmTeam, Yates is focused on providing scalable talent solutions to high growth healthcare technology and services companies. Yates holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Appalachian State University and holds certifications as an Enterprise Design Thinking Coach and Practitioner from IBM. Yates resides in Raleigh, North Carolina with his wife, two sons and their English Cocker Spaniel. Rich Oasis

Rich is energized helping clients disrupt healthcare.  The one constant in healthcare is continuous change and organizations need to have the right talent to scale and adapt to that change.  Finding industry-altering talent helps companies differentiate themselves from the competition while developing a strategic growth (hiring) plan will ensure they lead the industry and don’t get passed by.

At Chasm Partners, Rich is responsible for managing and leading client searches.  Rich’s experience helping clients strategically manage their growth – whether it’s building out functional teams, hiring an executive, or growing the team in general, is a key element of his clients’ success.

Prior to Chasm Partners, Rich led executive search for Zelis Healthcare, a $600M, P/E backed technology company. Rich worked closely with the CEO to build out both the leadership team as well as their direct reports. Some of Rich’s key hires included a CEO for an acquired business unit, divisional CFOs, CTO, CISO, and a divisional COO. Earlier in his career, Rich founded Network Oasis, a recruiting firm focused on finding top talent for growing technology companies and helping them to scale.

Rich graduated from Phillips Academy and Ohio Wesleyan University.  He also has a Masters in Education from Endicott College. He lives in Dover, MA with his wife. Rich played tennis in college and currently is an avid soccer and hockey fan. His three kids all play soccer and Rich referees high school and college soccer.

Prior to joining Chasm, Katy was a Principal TA Advisor for a global clinical research organization where she focused on driving the recruitment process forward for various functions within the company. Prior to joining Chasm Partners, Kerry was a recruiting leader at Iora Health, a tech-enabled value-based primary care provider. In her time at Iora, she played a key role in launching new markets and scaling the company from 150-800 people.

Preceding Iora Health, Kerry led full-cycle and campus recruiting efforts in strategy consulting, technology and financial services sectors.

Kerry graduated from Brown University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. While at Brown, she competed as a D1 ice hockey athlete and maintains a very active lifestyle. She resides north of Boston, MA with her husband and two daughters. As a family, they spend their time hanging out with friends, family, and exploring all of the beauty the “North Shore” has to offer.

Erin has more than 25 years of experience leading national and global HR and talent acquisition functions across various industries, including healthcare technology, healthcare services, professional services and consulting, insurance, digital marketing and high tech.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners, Erin worked for Zelis Healthcare, USI Insurance Services and Marsh & McLennan Companies, where her responsibilities included leading efforts to build effective talent acquisition strategies and functions. Prior to Marsh, Erin held acquisition leadership positions with Mercer and Monster Worldwide, where she was responsible for building and executing nationwide and global people strategies that guided the ability to attract, hire and retain top talent.

Erin’s expertise also includes strategic staffing, organizational design and effectiveness, change management, employee commitment and managing a changing workforce.

Aaron Bartels

With a background in healthcare recruiting and sales, Aaron understands the importance of healthcare technology in today’s world to meet the evolving needs of patient care. Aaron’s primary focus is in the ChasmTeam division of Chasm Partners. With most of his experience being in RPO, he thrives in a collaborative environment where he can help grow companies by providing consultative solutions to their hiring needs.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners Aaron worked in the RPO space for almost 14 years partnering with clients such as Lilly, Daiichi Sankyo, Carestream Dental, Cardinal Health and Carefusion. Aaron’s recruiting experience ranges from entry level positions to high level leadership roles.

Aaron is from Missouri and currently lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife and two children. He attended the University of Missouri where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. In his free time Aaron enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, taekwondo and taking advantage of the beaches of Florida.

Sharon believes that a company’s strong partnership with Talent Acquisition has a direct impact on its success. As a Principal at Chasm Partners, Sharon is delighted to use her nine years of Engineering Recruiting experience and additional five years of Corporate Recruiting experience to deliver results for digital healthcare startups.

Prior to joining Chasm, Sharon most recently worked for Palo Alto Networks R&D Team where she focused on diversity. There, she was awarded top Senior Talent Advisor for Q2 FY 2022 Best Candidate Experience. She also consulted for Amazon’s FinTech Team and several Series B, C and D tech startups to build and scale their Engineering, Product and Analytics teams through workforce planning, implementing metrics, creating end to end process and sourcing for exceptional, global talent. Earlier in her career, she led engineering recruiting for top institutional investment banks.  While Sharon has learned a lot from her time in agency and corporate environments, she enjoys leading partnerships for RPOs most.

Sharon attended Winston Salem State University in North Carolina and studied English. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.  When Sharon is not helping companies to grow, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two girls in Atlanta, GA.  Together, they enjoy golfing, fishing and movie nights.

Teresa Crotts

VP of Finance

With 11+ years’ experience, Teresa is a highly accomplished and goal-oriented operations executive with extensive experience in financial analysis and management, corporate accounting, cash management, accounts payable / receivables, internal control, financial forecasting, contract negotiations and management, and audits. With a proven track record of successful leadership experience, utilizing a vast background of knowledge and professional skill sets, Teresa has contributed to significant increases in revenue and business growth. As the VP of Finance at Chasm Partners, Teresa looks forward to creating scalable solutions to support a fast-growing and successful business, mainly focusing on the Finance Department.

Prior to joining Chasm, Teresa was the VP of Finance at Bespoke Partners, an executive search and leadership advisory company working primarily with private equity-backed software technology firms. Prior to Bespoke, Teresa was the Vice President of Technical Systems Integration, an SDVOSB that provides professional program management, technical, logistics, and fleet support services to Department of Defense, all branches of the US Armed Forces, and commercial clients. At both places of employment, Teresa implemented efficient and effective solutions contributing to the financial growth along with providing support to HR, Contracts, Technology and Systems.

Teresa graduated with a BS in Accounting from Penn State University (2011). She holds an MBA in Finance from Strayer University (2018). Teresa has been affiliated with two separate boards as a Board Member, Technical Systems Integration and Eastline Homeowners Association.

Teresa resides in Chesapeake, Virginia with her husband, son, daughter (Sept 2023), and one black Labrador. When she isn’t devoting her time to family or Chasm Partners, she is reading, playing kickball, traveling, catching up with friends, and trying different craft beers and/or wine.

Kersten Collins

Kersten is a SHRM Senior Certified Professional in Human Resources and has spent the last decade building and leading strong HR functions for national and international companies. She is particularly passionate about behavioral healthcare and advancing health equity and access to care. 

Prior to joining Chasm Partners, Kersten most recently led the people and culture functions for Portland-based startups Zapproved and Treehouse. While at Treehouse, Kersten earned the company a TinyPulse Employee Recognition Award and was featured in the article “Tips From 30 of the Happiest Companies on Earth.” She also helped both companies earn a coveted spot among Oregon Business’ 100 Best Companies to Work For and the Portland Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers in Oregon.

Kersten holds a B.S. in Social Science from Florida State University and a M.S. in Counseling Psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis from Nova Southeastern University. She currently resides in Florida with her husband, daughter, 4 cats, and a leopard gecko. Joining the team as a Senior Research Analyst, Cyssi comes with a background in search and recruitment for private equity & venture capital-backed software/SaaS companies where she developed and executed research strategy for search engagements, worked with partners to retrieve relevant data & uncover target candidates, and assisted in the maintenance of search health measured by both client expectations & candidate experience. She started her career at Bespoke Partners working with leading private equity firms including Thoma Bravo & Francisco Partners to place C-level executives in a variety of functions from HR to Finance. Most recently, she was part of the growing Talent Management team at Candidate Labs, working with VC-backed startups in the software industry.

Cyssi graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a focus on Business Communication. The culmination of her studies led to her final thesis exploring cross-cultural communication styles utilized by brands in the global fashion industry and how to create a more effective online presence. Currently based in NYC, Cyssi enjoys spending as much of her time outside when possible with a camera in hand.

Aiden is passionate about the intersection of healthcare and technology because of the potential it holds to improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. Growing up with a parent working in healthcare, he’s been exposed firsthand to the issues facing providers and patients. It’s fulfilling to help move forward the industry by bringing together top talent and innovative companies in order to improve the healthcare field and those it so dutifully serves.

Aiden leverages his experiences as a recruiter, entrepreneur, and private equity talent assessment analyst to provide insightful analysis and develop unique sourcing strategies that thoroughly assess relevant talent based on role requirements. Since graduating from college, he has been actively involved in the practice of evaluating the suitability of executives for critical roles using scorecards that he helped create or important aspects of an investment thesis provided by investor sponsors. His background, including a degree from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business; focused in Talent Management and Leadership, reinforces his approach to talent assessment, allowing him to bring a structured and academic approach to each step of the recruiting process.

In his free time, Aiden greatly enjoys creative endeavors including fashion, art and music, as well as staying active with his hobbies of Auto Racing, Golf, Tennis, and Weight Training.

Emily is a dedicated Sales Operations Manager with a passion for empathy, accountability, and change management. Her role at Chasm Partners helps sift through inefficiencies on the sales team to encourage growth and streamline processes for short and long-term success.

With past expertise in operations and project management, paired with experience in account management and marketing services, Emily understands how thrash can affect each member of a team. She utilizes her knowledge of internal and external responses to sales process to breakdown roadblocks & improve communication throughout various channels, individuals, and levels of stakeholder.

Emily holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing from Western Connecticut State University and continues to reside in Connecticut with her partner, Paul, and miniature dachshund, Scoot. Project Manager

Ginny’s enthusiasm for working with high growth, entrepreneurial organizations led her to Chasm Partners where she brings over 20 years of experience in operations and human resources management. She enjoys building and working with a team of people, and using her administrative and operational strengths to contribute to the overall success of the organization.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners, Ginny’s background was in corporate Human Resources where she focused on all levels of financial and technical recruitment for high growth organizations, including Oxford Health Plans and Priceline. Her passion for working with entrepreneurial organizations led her to project management and administrative roles for a several innovative non-profit organizations that leverage technology to address social issues. Most recently, she was National Site Administrator of Food Rescue U.S., an organization that uses a web-based platform to address food waste and hunger.

Ginny graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in English and a MS in Human Resources Management. She is an avid runner, looking to do just one more marathon, and has been a women’s literacy tutor for over ten years. She currently lives in Fairfield, CT .

Roy Carpenter

Operations Intern

Roy joins Chasm Partners as an Operations Intern and is responsible for providing support to the Marketing, Sales, and Operations teams.

Prior to Chasm Partners, Roy worked at the University of Connecticut’s Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, where he conducted comprehensive research on the challenges and opportunities that faced the city of Hartford. This included gathering insights from population polls, conducting direct interviews with community members, and engaging in discussions with prominent figures, including the mayor, councilmen, and congressmen. His proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to present strategic proposals for innovative projects were critical to the success of the program’s website and database development.

Roy lives in Brookfield, Connecticut and attends the University of Connecticut School of Business. Outside of work, Roy enjoys going hiking, going to the gym, and spending quality time with his family.
