Matt sees substantial opportunities for disruption in the healthcare ecosystem.  He is focused on applying best practices and talent capital management to help investors scale businesses in the healthcare technology and services space.  As Managing Partner of Chasm, Matt is focused on driving HCIT enterprise value growth through innovative talent capital models working as “partners” with venture capital and private equity investors and their portfolio companies.

Matt brings over 20+ years of experience as a business leader in both large and small companies, where he led the qualification, launch and commercial expansion plans of 19 B2B and B2C business ventures across 14 countries.

Before serving as a Partner at Oxeon Partners, Matt was a change agent as SVP and Head of Marketing (CMO) for WebMD consumer businesses such as the company’s website, magazine and mobile assets.  Prior to WebMD, Matt was Founder & Managing Director of Nielsen Health (formerly a start-up business unit of The Nielsen Company) and subsequently President & CEO of Deutsche Ventures, where he conceived and commercialized first ever data integration methods and analytic solutions that help healthcare marketers, payers and providers optimize their patient communication campaigns in a HIPAA regulated data environment.

In this endeavor, he founded Ecosys Consumer Analytics, a healthcare patient targeting and marketing ROI analytics platform that eventually merged with Crossix Solutions.  Earlier in his career, Matt spent 8 out of his 10 years at Procter & Gamble in Frankfurt and Geneva developing and leading commercial expansion plans for several global packaged goods and consumer health brands.  Matt started his career in the group employee benefits space at Unum.

Matt graduated from Colby College where he started two businesses, one of which he sold before graduating and received an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. He is an investor and board member of various privately held ventures in the healthcare technology and services space. Matt is a member of the Board of Directors at Stamford Hospital, ranked by US News and World Report as one of the top hospitals in Connecticut, where he also serves on the Quality & Clinical Affairs as well as Finance Committees.

KRISTY LINDQUIST

Kristy found her niche as a global turnaround specialist in organizational development and operations. She has been a proven catalyst for change while leveraging the right people and leaders to achieve breakthrough results. After 25 years helping international companies in pharma and consumer products grow through challenging circumstances, she sees significant opportunity in helping healthcare technology & services companies scale by applying these experiences.

As an international business leader throughout her career, Kristy evolved as an accomplished leader and management consultant following 8 years at Procter & Gamble.  While at P&G, Kristy managed the P/L and growth strategies of several global brands in Western Europe and South East Asia, with particular focus on consumer health.  While at P&G, she led her organization successfully through the Thai currency crisis. Subsequently, Kristy took on several leadership roles as Chief Operating Officer of Axicorp Pharma and Chief Purchasing Officer of ACA Mueller, both of which were privately held European pharmaceutical distribution companies based in Germany.  In these roles, Kristy led significant restructuring and turnaround efforts during the German health care reform and following new private equity funding, leading to record profits.  Kristy also took on several projects in consulting and training for international clients, advising them on disruptive strategies to achieve growth.  Some of those clients include BRITA GmbH, Tivall Europe, AC Nielsen, Aventis Pharma, Amneal Pharma, and Constantia Flexibles.

Kristy graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and received her Master of International Management from Thunderbird Global School of Management.  She is fluent in German, enjoys globetrotting with her two young adult children, and enjoys running and hiking outdoors, especially since moving to Salt Lake City, Utah.

DAVID WOODWARD

David believes that in order for healthcare to transform from fee-for-service to value-based care, the Healthcare Information Technology industry will continue to face disruption and require “best in class” human capital to provide a competitive advantage. His view is that top talent in key functional areas like sales, marketing, operations, finance, and engineering will be necessary for venture backed companies in this space to not only win the sprint but keep pace in the marathon.

At Chasm Partners, David leverages his 20+ years of experience as an executive search professional in advising clients, and coaching candidates. He specializes in recruiting commercial oriented executives for early and later stage high growth clients, leveraging his experience from a broad range of client sectors including private equity, venture capital, healthcare, technology and consumer products.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners, David specialized in retained search focused venture backed healthcare technology companies at Ross & Company. Earlier in his career, he served in several senior recruiting roles at Lindsey & Company and O’Keefe & Partners, where he specialized in the recruitment of senior marketing, sales and general management executives. He brings experience having worked directly with senior leaders at clients ranging from high-growth startups to Fortune 500 companies such as Microsoft, Visa, Domino’s Pizza, and Victorinox Swiss Army, while also partnering with Private Equity and Venture Capital clients including Summit Partners, General Catalyst, Hellman & Friedman, Frontier Capital, Harvest Partners, Bain Capital Ventures, Northbridge Venture Partners, and Venrock, among others.

David graduated from Babson College with a BS in Management and was a two-time All-American in Ice Hockey. He is an active investor and a Limited Partner in a number of funds focused on healthcare technology and services. He lives in Fairfield with his wife and two children and enjoys ice hockey, boating, fishing, golfing and hitting the beach. He is an active member in the Catholic Club, Roxbury Club, and Fayerweather Yacht club. He still enjoys playing hockey in a men’s league and maintains his Level 4 coaching certification.

Amy sees the intersection between life sciences and technology as the key component in healthcare transformation. At Chasm Partners, Amy is focused on delivering executive talent and human capital consulting to venture capital and private equity backed HCIT companies. She believes disruptive technology paired with exceptional people offers the greatest opportunity for competitive advantage and value creation.

Throughout Amy’s career she has placed C-suite & VP level executives in some of the world’s most innovative biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies. In addition, she has experience identifying talent for rapid-growing, high-tech environments providing key leadership and board level executives for companies looking to scale and accelerate growth.

Prior to joining Chasm Amy served as Director at Koenig & Associates, a retained executive search firm exclusive to life sciences. At Koenig & Associates, she partnered with biotechnology clients developing life-changing technologies within gene therapy, immuno-oncology, neuroscience and psychiatry. Amy also collaborated with pre-commercial venture capital and private equity companies to place key leadership and assist in building commercial organizations for product launch. Earlier in Amy’s career she worked with Mercato Partners, a growth equity investment firm dedicated to providing entrepreneurs the capital and resources they require to effectively scale their businesses. As a member of the Mercato performance team, Amy partnered with investors and entrepreneurs to identify executive leadership and served as a trusted advisor in the areas of leadership development, performance management, employee engagement, culture, and compensation structure.

 Amy started her career in the staffing industry prior to transitioning to Highland Capital Management, a twenty-billion-dollar alternative investment firm. She served on Highland Capital’s private equity team with a focus on rebuilding under-performing middle market companies to maximize shareholder return.

Amy graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Human Biology and Psychology and was a two-time All Big XII team selection in softball. She lives in Salt Lake City, Utah, with her husband and daughter and enjoys horse jumping, yoga, and taking advantage of the many outdoor activities that the Wasatch Mountains have to offer.

Pamela Zients

Before joining Chasm, Pam served as interim Head of Sales for an early-stage health tech start-up, Agathos, a transparency platform that gives hospital clinicians convenient, timely and reliable feedback on practice patterns. While at Agathos, Pam recruited and onboarded a sales team and provided general oversight for the sales process. She continues to serve as an Executive Advisor to the Agathos leadership team. Prior to Agathos, Pam led account management and consulting services for the provider business of Decision Resources Group. 

Prior to her endeavors in the healthcare start-up world, Pam spent four years with the Advisory Board Company in senior account executive and client success positions. She also spent close to a decade in hospital strategic planning and business development roles with both HCA and SCL Health. Pam started her career as a journalist covering fiscal, monetary, and trade policy in Washington, DC.

Pam is a graduate of Emory University and received an MBA from Columbia Business School. She lives outside of Denver with her family and enjoys spending her free time outdoors biking, hiking, and running up Colorado’s mountains. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and being “managed” by her poorly-behaved Australian Shepherd.

Gavin has over 20 years of experience delivering commercially impactful talent solutions in multiple business sectors worldwide. In addition to his extensive Human Resources background, he also has other operating experience across a variety of business areas including Quality Assurance Management, Sales Management, P&L management and organizational mergers.  He coaches executives and leadership teams, designs and implements talent management plans, solutions and related communications approaches. The goal is to achieve lasting impact through these solutions for businesses.

He is able to articulate key business insights that are relevant to each client’s specific needs by using effective diagnostic tools, frameworks and conversations.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners and founding Talent Drive Value,  Gavin was the Global HR Director for Synovate, a global billion dollar professional services firm that was eventually acquired by Ipsos.  Gavin was the key enabler and driver for an organization-wide restructuring of Synovate, covering leadership, teams, communication and organization design that led to the business outperforming its peers. Gavin joined Synovate following 9 years leading HR worldwide at Pentland brands representing 2,500 employees for this privately held sports and leisurewear business based in London.  Prior to Pentland, Gavin held a of HR and QA positions at Clariant, a global specialty chemicals company based in Switzerland.

Gavin received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Natal, South Africa followed by an MBA from Edinburgh Business School.  He has accreditation in psychometrics from the British Psychological Society and as an ICF Coach.  He is on the Board of Directors for VolunteerSquare.com.

Rich Oasis

Rich is energized helping clients disrupt healthcare.  The one constant in healthcare is continuous change and organizations need to have the right talent to scale and adapt to that change.  Finding industry-altering talent helps companies differentiate themselves from the competition while developing a strategic growth (hiring) plan will ensure they lead the industry and don’t get passed by.

At Chasm Partners, Rich is responsible for leading RPO sales in addition to managing client searches.  Rich’s experience helping clients strategically manage their growth – whether it’s building out functional teams, hiring an executive, or growing the team in general, is a key element of his clients’ success.

Prior to Chasm Partners, Rich led executive search for Zelis Healthcare, a $600M, P/E backed technology company. Rich worked closely with the CEO to build out both the leadership team as well as their direct reports. Some of Rich’s key hires included a CEO for an acquired business unit, divisional CFOs, CTO, CISO, and a divisional COO. Earlier in his career, Rich founded Network Oasis, a recruiting firm focused on finding top talent for growing technology companies and helping them to scale.

Rich graduated from Phillips Academy and Ohio Wesleyan University.  He also has a Masters in Education from Endicott College. He lives in Dover, MA with his wife. Rich played tennis in college and currently is an avid soccer and hockey fan. His three kids all play soccer and Rich referees high school and college soccer.

Prior to joining Chasm, Renee worked as a Recruiter in companies such as Duke Energy, Ingersoll Rand, Ernst & Young, and Sony Music. Her experience in large companies provided her with expertise in campus recruiting, project management, and entry-level to executive recruiting.

Renee is from North Carolina and currently lives in New York City. She attended Marshall University and received her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management. In her free time Renee enjoys exploring her city and taking advantage of all of the cultural activities NYC has to offer.

Jen’s early career began in the research and sourcing aspect of executive retained search with a quick move to the client services side of the process. She has focused on supporting retained search client needs in a variety of industries, including healthcare, higher education and manufacturing as part of both large and boutique firms. Prior to joining Chasm Partners, Jen spent nearly four years with Grant Cooper, a top-ranked healthcare search firm and, most recently, gained corporate recruitment depth as a Senior Executive Recruiter with Denver-based DaVita, the world’s largest dialysis care provider. There she partnered with executive leaders in the C-suite and in senior field operational settings to build strong relationships and effectively lead full cycle searches for operations, finance, strategy, growth and clinical leadership talent.

Jen is a graduate of Carleton College. She lives in Denver with her favorite human, her son, and a beloved canine child. Prior to joining Chasm Partners Aaron worked in the RPO space for almost 14 years partnering with clients such as Lilly, Daiichi Sankyo, Carestream Dental, Cardinal Health and Carefusion. Aaron’s recruiting experience ranges from entry level positions to high level leadership roles.

Aaron is from Missouri and currently lives in Sarasota, Florida with his wife and two children. He attended the University of Missouri where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Ted is thrilled to be involved in Healthcare Technology during such a transformative time. Prior to Chasm Partners, Ted was a consultative full-cycle recruiter, working primarily with startups and venture-backed early growth companies to achieve their business objectives with careful talent selection. He specialized in recruiting for senior management and above, as well as strategic individual contributors in industries including healthcare, software, market research, and advertising.

Previously, Ted was responsible for several high-traffic retail businesses, including a men’s department with more than 25 direct reports, and annual volume exceeding $7M. There he was able to refine his skills in areas like talent assessment and acquisition, training and development, and employee engagement, in addition to broader business tools like P&L management, customer service, and conflict resolution. Realizing he had an affinity and aptitude for talent and human resources, Ted made the decision to transition into a career as an executive recruiter, and hasn’t looked back.

Ted received an undergraduate degree from Providence College in Business Management, where he also competed for their storied track team. Today his only running is in pursuit of his young son and two dogs at the home he and his wife have in Southern Connecticut.

Rachel graduated from Louisiana State University with a BS in International Trade and Finance.  Her family splits their time off between southwestern CT and Brooklyn where she can be found reading, binge watching foreign films, and practicing yoga.

Nikki began her career in the Contract Engineering world where she held roles in Recruitment, Account Management, Branch Management and Subject Matter Expert. As Subject Matter Expert for the Technology Group, she delivered Client presentations, advised Customer Relationship Managers on technical issues relating to job descriptions, recruitment efforts, and fill ability. She also participated in the design of Marketing Collateral as well as implementation of the Pharma and Life Science Business Group.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners, Blaise specialized in knowledge management and executive candidate sourcing at PrincePerelson in Salt Lake City, UT. Blaise also previously worked as a Summer Analyst at Spencer Stuart, where she worked to provide market research and fill key roles across the Chief Information Officer, Human Resources, Healthcare, and Chief Marketing Officer practice areas of the firm.

Blaise graduated cum laude from Colgate University with a BA in Philosophy and Political Science. She lives in Ogden, UT with her two dogs and husband. Originally from Palm Springs, California, Blaise enjoys traveling and spends her time outside of work outdoors: hiking, skiing, and skydiving.

Preceding DuPage Medical Group, Hans was a Senior Associate within the healthcare practice at WittKieffer for nearly six years.  In this role Hans worked with a variety of clients throughout the healthcare industry on C-suite level searches. One of Hans’ marquee placements was the National Chief Nursing Officer for one of the largest healthcare systems in the nation. During his time at WittKieffer Hans was the recipient of their annual quality award in 2016.

Hans holds a BA in History and Spanish from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.  At Westmont, Hans was captain of the Track and Field team and competed as a decathlete all four years. He lives in the lake country area of Southeastern Wisconsin with his wife, two sons and two dogs.  He enjoys traveling, music, improv, the outdoors, and playing ice hockey.

Gauri believes in working to make the world around her a better place. She understands that her role as a researcher can make a positive impact on the organization’s outcome by supporting her teammates and enabling them to do what they are best at doing. She thoroughly enjoys the research process, especially investigating a problem in-depth to reach new conclusions. Gauri wishes to delve deeper into the world of research, data and analysis by learning new and upcoming tools, understanding latest trends and making the best out of it for operational excellence.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners, Gauri worked as a researcher and analyst with RTI International, an independent non-profit research institute, in their education survey division. She has been a part of many national level longitudinal school studies for RTI as a sample recruiter and project coordinator. She oversaw bulk mailing management, budgeting for subtasks, research applications, staff training and developing job aids for the projects. Prior to joining RTI, Gauri has travelled to many remote parts of India to study social interventions and their social and economic outcomes. Her independent research projects cover a wide range of the development spectrum such as wetland conservation, effects of drop-out rate on educational outcomes of teenage girls, and analysis of CSR marketplaces in the non-profit sector. Before transitioning into the research and development sector, she worked with an IT consulting firm Sopra Steria for three years as a PeopleSoft functional consultant and security administrator.

Gauri completed her Bachelor’s in computer engineering and later a Master’s in Development in India before moving to the United States. She is an avid reader and loves reading the National Geographic magazine in her spare time. She recently resumed her training in Indian classical music and wishes to perform live someday. She is also a fitness enthusiast and enjoys yoga, Zumba, aerobics and masala bhangra. Gauri lives in Cary, North Carolina with her family.

Jillian has been involved in a range of roles all specializing in the space of HR and DE&I. She has made a point to join teams at companies who are extremely mission based whether they be focused on healthcare, legal equity, or education. Her last position was a support role at the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.

Jillian is passionate about social equity and looks forward to being a catalyst for positive social change here at Chasm Partners. Jillian is originally from Southeastern MA and moved to New York City for her education. She received her Bachelors degree in Gender & Sexuality Studies and Religious Studies from Marymount Manhattan College and is currently a Masters student at the CUNY Graduate Center studying Gender and Race Theory. She plans on continuing her education to include a PhD program in Sociology. In her spare time Jillian can be found in one of two places: on her couch with her face in a book or out on long walks with her adoring pup, Asher.

Prior to joining Chasm Partners, Ginny’s background was in corporate Human Resources where she focused on all levels of financial and technical recruitment for high growth organizations, including Oxford Health Plans and Priceline. Her passion for working with entrepreneurial organizations led her to project management and administrative roles for a several innovative non-profit organizations that leverage technology to address social issues. Most recently, she was National Site Administrator of Food Rescue U.S., an organization that uses a web-based platform to address food waste and hunger.

Ginny graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in English and a MS in Human Resources Management. She is an avid runner, looking to do just one more marathon, and has been a women’s literacy tutor for over ten years. She lives in Fairfield, CT with her husband and two sons.

Niki Dykstra

Niki has a strong passion for organization and efficiency, and delights in contributing to both within the companies she works for. She has 15 years of experience managing projects for executive searches within global search firms, boutique search firms as well as corporate in-house recruiting.

Niki grew up in West Michigan and has lived in New York, San Francisco and Chicago. While moving around the country, she gained experience in administrative and operations roles in the financial, biotech and high-tech industries working in the legal and marketing departments. When the opportunity to join a global executive search firm presented itself, Niki took a chance to try something new and has been enjoying it ever since. She worked with various teams in the consumer, financial, industrial, healthcare, life sciences and technology industries as well as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Human Resource Officer practices.

Niki graduated from John Jay College of Criminal Justice with a Forensic Psychology degree. She mentors at-risk and underprivileged youth, listens to true crime podcasts and spoils her dog Sir Remington.

MONIQUE KAMOSI-FRAZIER

Monique was raised in Branson, Missouri, and after several years living in Boston and then San Francisco, she settled in Salt Lake City in 2014. Early in her career she worked as a paralegal with thoughts of attending law school, but ultimately decided to stay home for a few years to raise her young family. After a few years of freelance editing, she accepted a position as Assistant to the CFO at Arco Packaging, based in Salt Lake City, where she managed HR processes, internal recruiting, and supported the Accounting department.

Immediately prior to joining Chasm Partners in 2017, Monique was the Human Resources & Investor Relations Manager for Sundance Bay, a Salt Lake City-based private equity fund specializing in multifamily real estate. Here she oversaw all HR functions for 60+ employees across 7 states, and also assisted with quarterly reporting, partner distribution preparation, investor communications, and event planning.

Monique graduated from Brigham Young University with a BA in English and performed with the Cougar Marching, Pep, and University Bands all four years of college. She currently sings alto with the Salt Lake Vocal Artists, a choral group that travels internationally. Monique is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and is currently studying for her PHR certification. Her husband and three sons stay busy with soccer, piano & electric guitar lessons, and taking care of their pets – including chickens! She spends her precious free time at a hot yoga class, hiking, golfing, reading, or attending rock/folk concerts.

David joined Chasm while pursuing a Master of Public Health and a Master of Healthcare Administration at the University of Utah. Before attending school, he was abroad working to provide sustainable access to healthcare in Uganda, Nepal, and Romania. He enjoyed recruiting and training multidisciplinary teams to live abroad and assist areas recovering from natural disaster and civil war. After returning to the United States, David worked at Stanford Cancer Center to help strategically grow their network. 

In his young career, David has strived to live by a mantra of “turn outward and serve.” For him, healthcare is not just a business. People are valuable, and healthcare provides the opportunity to advocate and protect their well-being. Chasm is an opportunity that allows him to utilize his operational experience to work on a team contributing to companies who are invested in improving the lives of others through innovative advancements in social determinants of health. David is currently completing an administrative fellowship with Northwell Health in New York.

Aside from healthcare, David can be found teaching tap and clogging, singing with chamber choirs in NYC, and skiing every chance he gets.

Born and raised in China, Aerin has acquired a global perspective on healthcare management and recruitment by living and working in Boston, London, Singapore and New York City. Aerin joined Chasm after receiving a Master of Public Health from Columbia University. While attending school, Aerin worked at Singapore Ministry of Health and Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. She enjoyed training with diverse and international teams on promoting value-based healthcare and improving management efficiency in various healthcare entities.

Aerin believes that people are at the core of healthcare. Placing the right people at the right place in the right time enhances the values and quality of health delivery overall. Chasm provides the opportunity for her to leverage her experience in healthcare operation and policy analysis and contribute to innovative solutions to today’s healthcare challenges. Aerin is currently an Administrative Fellow at Northwell Health in New York.

When away from work, Aerin can be found doing long runs during the weekend, enjoying a hike in the mountains, and exploring vintage stores and art museums around New York City.
