Unlike traditional recruiting firms, Chasm employees are compensated based on team performance and project outcomes rather than commission. We are the opposite of individual contributors, celebrating the “no look pass” by leveraging one another’s expertise and network across all projects, regardless of level or client. We are all recognized and rewarded based on our team performance and the quality of our work.

I have been in the retained executive search industry for over twenty years. Traditional executive search firms have built reputations as being very transactional in nature. Our Founding Story
Twenty-five years ago, Kristy and Matt worked together at Procter & Gamble as Brand Managers in Europe and across the globe. Both managed $100+ Million businesses before pursuing more entrepreneurial opportunities focused on healthcare. Their experience managing both large and small organizations required significant hiring while working with some of the most recognized recruiting firms in the world. Let’s just say, they saw room for improvement for both the client and candidate working with executive recruiters.
In 2015, Chasm Partners was founded in a New York City cafe with the desire to disrupt the recruiting space specifically in healthcare. Working in close partnership with a handful of healthcare investors, along with some early anchor healthcare clients, Kristy and Matt focused on developing a new recruiting model addressing three foundational strategies designed to change healthcare recruiting:
- Gain better alignment and trust with clients and candidates through “At-Risk” economic models
- Drive executive search outcomes utilizing a team with deep healthcare and recruiting expertise
- Create a predictable, systematic approach to recruiting rather than rely on individual contributors
Utilizing their operational expertise, Matt and Kristy have been able to deliver on these foundational strategies evidenced by the fact that Chasm Partners works with some of the nation’s top investors and innovative companies in healthcare. Today, you will still find Kristy and Matt spending the majority of their time working with clients and candidates, helping to change healthcare one leader at a time.
