Has the growth of AI impacted your healthcare company’s hiring strategy? Additionally, the WEF expects over 70% of medical and healthcare services companies to adopt AI technologies, less than 40% to prioritize skills training in AI and big data, and 80-90% to accelerate automation.
What does this mean for healthcare?
The healthcare industry is trending toward widespread adoption of AI. While this may result in the loss of certain roles, it also opens the door for never-before-seen positions, which provides a tremendous opportunity to bolster your team with talented individuals who can not only hasten your company’s adoption of these tools and technologies but also create efficiencies and processes that may not otherwise be possible. Two new positions we’ve been discussing recently are “Chief AI Officer” and “Prompt Engineer.” Here’s an overview of what we’ve learned so far:

While it’s unknown what long-term effects generative AI and tools like ChatGPT will have, one thing is clear: AI is here to stay. Moreover, it will only become more critical that your internal leadership and teams understand how to best leverage these tools to help your company grow.
