POSITION OVERVIEW

As an Associate, you will be a key member of the team working together with Partners, Principals, Directors and Associate Directors on their specific engagements while also helping the organization with mission critical projects that will help us grow.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identifying high quality potential candidates for search projects that meet specific Profile Scorecard requirements
  • Handling initial outreach to candidates generating interest
  • Initial screening of potential candidates to assess skills and suitability in relation to the specific role as described on the Profile Scorecard
  • Utilizing multiple outreach tactics such as company tools, LinkedIn, google search and others
  • Leveraging company and personal networks to identify potential candidates within specific verticals
  • Utilize industry insight and knowledge to work with internal research team to develop industry segmentations 
  • Participate in client meetings with the search team to gain deeper project insights while also getting exposure to highly accomplished executives in the space
  • Lead or participate in ad-hoc projects that add value and are important to Chasm or its clients

Associate positions are full-time, requiring a 40 hour work week. Given the spirit of Chasm Partners in finding the right balance between personal and professional priorities, it is our general belief that the expectations and deliverables for this role can be managed in a flexible way during varying times of the day.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree, required 
  • 2+ years (Senior Associate) 1 – 2 years (Associate) of recruiting or talent acquisition experience in-house or with an agency, search or research firm
  • Intellectually curious and passionate about helping solve the issues in healthcare
  • Ideally, has experience working on healthcare or life sciences searches involving commercial related roles (sales, marketing, finance, general management) or technology roles (IT, product, engineering)
  • Full life cycle recruitment experience, preferred
  • Comfortable leading outreach efforts to prospective candidates
  • Confident and polished communicator while managing candidate screening calls and interviews, both in written and verbal communications 
  • Disciplined project management skills, highly organized and detail oriented with respect to documentation and communication; facile in juggling priorities of multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong sense of urgency, initiative, and resourcefulness to follow through on project commitments
  • Results oriented with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility 
  • Enjoys working within a strong team environment
  • Experienced and comfortable using an array of innovative technology platforms and tools for sourcing and to track search activity throughout the life cycle of a project, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, LinkedIn Recruiter, Applicant Tracking Systems and/or CRM database
